For the past 10 years I have been working throughout Europe and further afield, generally teaching watersports or mountain biking in the summer, and teaching skiing during the winter. On top of this, a good chunk of my time in the last 5 years has been focused primarily on developing new instructors, coaching the coaches as it were.
As far as my own sports go, I have regularly trained within gyms for about 10 years now, and have ridden, raced, guided and coached mountain biking for 20 years. Throughout this journey I have had a fascination with biomechanics, essentially how people move. Pairing this with becoming a personal trainer and having a Postgraduate certificate in Sports Rehabilitation, I offer a unique insight into coaching both in the gym and on the bike. I have also had my fair share of serious injuries and, at times, overly exciting adventures. This allows me to bring another element to the table which is managing fear, anxiety and self confidence. Having gone through a variety of challenges over the years, I can safely say that I can build your confidence and accelerate you towards your personal goals, both in the gym and on the bike.

Hi! My name is Euan, and I’m the founder of MTB Coaching and Fitness. I have been coaching a variety of sports since I was 14. Started out in sailing, and over the years have added several strings to my bow. I am now qualified to teach a whole range of water and land-based sports. Throughout this I have consistently worked on becoming a coach, rather than simply an instructor within all these disciplines.
